For the past two years, I have learned a lot about homeschooling. So many parents simply want the best for their child and really believe homeschooling is probably the only option. Some have had years of experience and still feel that they cannot wrap themselves around a curriculum while others are that homeschool guru. Many parents who are homeschooling newbies think that they will permanently damage their child's cognitive development or will most likely create a situation where his or her child will forever be behind his grade level public or private school counterparts. There may be some parents that and are in tears "daily". I admire those parents. They are courageous. I have heard and have read a lot about the homeschooling phenomenon.
I don't homeschool myself, but I try peep into that window and think about what it must be like. Then I think about my nearly 30 years experience teaching. I can help. Yes, I can help a parent with all of the teaching questions and the curriculum questions and the assessment analyses.
